Is THIS Power Pop ?!? --- YES !!!

A-Side : 'All I Wanna Do'

Check out the this video clip on Youtube !

'All I Wanna Do' let me ask the question : Was Jo Jo Zep the Australian Elvis Costello ?

*184* Plastic Idols - Adventure / Remix

Here we have some post punk synth new wave.
My copy came with this press clipping :

The clipping says that the Plastic Idols took part on a live recording session for a live album on Big Bear Records. Maybe I'm wrong but this in fact can only be the 'Brum Beat' album. If you take a look you will not find the Plastic Idols in the track list ! ... What happened ?!
A-Side : 'Adventure'
B-Side : 'Remix'

(If you are the former owner who put the press clipping into the single cover, let me know ... :)).

*183* Lips - Say Hello To My Girl / Cool From School

Wonderful A-Side !!!
My Life's A Jigsaw already posted it. Whenever you will find The Kraze's version of Say Hello To My Girl -- let me know !!!

*182* Denizens - Ammonia Subway / People Of The Night

Again I was looking for tracks you can not found on Youtube ... finally I found one post for the A-Side (compared with four posts for the B-Side track). That's understandable, personally I like 'People Of The Night' more than 'Ammonia Subway' (too). But this doesn't mean the A-Side is not good ! All in all a great job done by this Birmingham Punk / Post Punk band back in 1980!

A-Side : 'Ammonia Subway'
B-Side : 'People Of The Night'

*181* Linus & His Band - Here Comes the Night EP

Could not and still can not find much information (released 1978 on the Swedish Smash Records label ) about this record very interesting looking record. I thought the price Ebay price of 4,99 pounds is worth it to find out how Linus sounds like ... I was not disappointed !
On the A-Side you find a nice cover version of Them's 'Here comes the night'. The B-Side comes with two hard drivin' Pup Rock songs.

A-Side : 'Here Comes the Night'
B-Side : 'I'll be There' / 'Doctor Doctor'

A-Side : 'One More Minute'

I guess the B-Side I know since years from some V/A compilation(s) - it is a great Power pop / Mod number !!
